Preparation of Mango Pickle

Outlines:-Buying mangoes- sorting and removing the rotten ones-cleaning- cutting into pieces- mixing salt, mustard oil and chilli- left in the sun- puured into the jars.

To prepare mango pickle, first good quality green mangoes are bought from market. Then these are sorted out and the rotten ones removed .The selected mangoes are then cleaned with water and cut into small pieces. Salt ,spice, chilly and mustard oil are then added to them. The mango pieces are next left in the sun on a flat pot for several days. When absolutely dry these are poured into jars. They are now ready for consumption.
